The Clark-Reliance Corporation has acquired Oil Filtration Systems Inc. of Boerne, Texas in a cash transaction. Terms of the deal were not disclosed by the two private companies.

Oil Filtration Systems makes oil and fuel filtration systems for petroleum and chemical industry applications. Most of the company’s products and services involve the removal of particulate, water, gasses and acids from fluids. By removing these contaminants, the company’s customers are able to recycle valuable fluids while helping to optimize their operating equipments’ performance.

Oil Filtration Systems is both a manufacturer and a service company. Its products include vacuum dehydrators, portable filter skids for high flow filtration, portable filter carts for low flow filtration, coalescers and other related equipment. Its service business includes a comprehensive fleet of rental filtration equipment, oil and fuel reclamation services, installation, tank cleaning, fluid analysis and maintenance.

“The acquisition of OFS increases our depth in the process industry, enabling us to offer new, diverse capabilities in the oil, gas and chemical industry worldwide,” said Rich Solon, president of Clark-Reliance.

The Clark-Reliance Corporation is a world leader in boiler level and control. The company’s well-known brands constitute the broadest line of level instrumentation for boilers: Jerguson liquid level gages and valves, Jacoby-Tarbox sight flow indicators, Reliance boiler level controls, Magne-Sonics level measurement and control products and Clark Steam Specialties.
