Tricor Coriolis Technology recently released a new 3-inch Coriolis flow meter for its TCM series. The flow meter is particularly well suited to the oil and gas industry for measuring the midstream transportation of oil and gas, railcar and truck loading, allocation metering in crude oil and natural gas production, and metering of refined products in downstream production applications, as well as a variety of other industries.

The meter can measure flows up to 8,433 pounds per minute (230,000 kilograms per hour) or 1,012 gallons per minute (230,000 liters per hours) and withstand pressures up to 1,450 psi (100 bar) with a high degree of accuracy (0.1 percent of reading). The new meter also will soon have ATEX Ex. IIC TI-T6 and CSA/cUS Class 1 Div. 1 hazardous area certifications.

"We are very pleased to offer this new 3-inch Coriolis meter to the flow measurement industry and our customers who've been asking for it," said Mark Iverson, Tricor program director. "Our development engineers have meticulously designed this new size for the best possible accuracy and resistance to external vibration. Tricor will continue to develop this TCM Series with more sizes in accordance to our customers' needs."
