LE Unveils New Fuel Supplement

Lubrication Engineers (LE) recently added to its line of engine oils and fuel supplements with the Full Torque Diesel Fuel Improver.

Intended for long-haul diesel engine operators who want to conserve fuel, protect their equipment and keep their trucks on the road despite harsh conditions, the cetane-boosted, detergent-containing formulation is designed to increase power, improve fuel economy, reduce emissions and provide smoother performance in diesel engines year-round.

The cetane booster can increase a fuel's cetane number up to three numbers, resulting in faster ignition time, more power, easier starts and less smoke at startup. The diesel supplement also incorporates special detergents to keep injector systems clean and working at maximum performance, as well as ingredients that protect against wear, water and corrosion.

In addition to long-haul diesel engines, other diesel equipment can benefit from Full Torque, including passenger cars, light-duty trucks, off-road construction equipment, stationary engines and storage tanks.

"This product was put to work in field trials in very harsh conditions with multiple independent owner-operators transporting materials from Fairbanks to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska," said Clay Calk, LE's business solutions manager. "The product performed beyond their expectations."

Formulated to work with all types of diesel fuels, including ultra-low sulfur diesel, biodiesel and blends, Full Torque is available in winter (2411) and summer (2421) versions.
