Maxum Petroleum Continues Expansion with Mid-State Acquisition

Maxum Petroleum Inc., a leading central Appalachia marketer and distributor of petroleum products through its Petroleum Products Inc. subsidiary, announced that it has acquired Mid-State Industrial Lubricants Company of Summersville, W.Va. Terms were not disclosed.

Maxum was established in Greenwich, Conn., in 2004. The company has acquired 12 fuel and lubricant marketers including Simons Petroleum, Trevco, Hartney, Pecos, Canyon State Oil, Petroleum Products, Paulson Oil and now Mid-State Industrial Lubricants.
