ALS Tribology opens new facility

In business since 1961, ALS Tribology's Cleveland Technical Center and commercial laboratory operation commemorated their 50th anniversary by moving into a newer, more modern facility. Located in the greater Cleveland area, the move was completed on March 28. The new location will accommodate expanded research and development, laboratory operations, and future operational growth. In addition to the Tribology laboratory, the center will house the Technical Resource Department, the Information Technology Department, and present and future centralized support services staff.  

Enhanced workflow efficiencies and expanded commercial lubricant, metalworking fluids, coolants, and fuel testing services are made possible by the move to this newer facility. Vice President and Manager of North American Operations, David Doyle, shared, "The creation of a new facility for our technical center and commercial laboratory operations will strengthen support for our overall North American operations as well as continue to provide expanded growth possibilities and enhancements for our lubricants, coolants, wear analysis, and metalworking fluids testing services.”
