Baldwin Introduces New Lube Filter

Noria news wires

Baldwin recently introduced a new lube filter that incorporates the company's next-generation of engineered media for longer life and better performance in sophisticated modern engines.

Designed for durability and performance, the BD50000 is a high-quality alternative to the LF14000NN. Its high overall efficiency allows it to provide protection against wear and extend part life.

The filter features a 17 percent greater capacity than similar models for longer filter life and a 40 percent lower restriction at cold starts to improve flow and reduce wear. The filter's structural stability also helps to ensure durability and prevent contaminant leaks.

Like all Baldwin filters, the BD50000 has been routinely tested beyond industry standards to ensure reliable performance under the toughest conditions. It can be used with Cummins ISX and X15 engines.

"I am excited to release the BD50000 to our customers," said Farrell Calcaterra, Clarcor Engine Mobile Group vice president of research and development. "Through a collaborative effort between resources at Clarcor's Innovation Center and Clarcor Engine Mobile Group, we have developed a world-class filter that keeps with the rich tradition of quality and performance that Baldwin Filters' customers have come to expect."
