Industrial Innovations Unveils New Roll Coating Lubrication System

Industrial Innovations recently introduced a new roll coating system to provide precise and uniform lubricant coverage on parts prior to stamping. The Spra-Rite system includes a solid roll in 12- to 80-inch sizes, which enables the roller to be changed within minutes. The external roller lubricant application feature also helps to ease maintenance.

Intended to offer an environmentally friendly approach to lubricant application by transferring lubricant from the surface of the roller directly to the surface of the part, roll coating systems employ programmable, independent fluid control for adjusting the thickness of the lubricant transferred to the part. 

While most roll coaters are comprised of 6- to 12-inch rollers, which are connected to achieve the final roll size, the new Spra-Rite systems incorporate a solid, one-piece quick-release roller to reduce changeover time from more than an hour to minutes.

The new roll coaters are designed to provide simple coil feed installation with coil or power feed capability, automatic press control communication and 200-part recipe capability. They can also accommodate Spra-Rite manifolds, which is an added benefit for existing Industrial Innovations customers.
