WHITE PAPER:
Prevent Gearbox Failures with Contamination Monitoring
Measuring contamination is challenging yet critical in the turbulent/aerated conditions typical of gearboxes and other industrial systems. The nature of optical contamination instruments can make them sensitive to entrained air and in turn affect the reliability of solid contamination results. This paper explains how an innovative new service tool combines the established optical technology with a range of communication protocols for easy integration with user control systems, thereby improving measurement, confidence and accuracy.
